Something Is Taking Shape

TETRA

is coming soon

We're cold pressing something rare. A new home for a raw sacred extract — rooted in form, refined for the modern care.

What is THCA

The Raw Acid Form

THCA — tetrahydrocannabinolic acid — is the natural, non-psychoactive precursor to THC found in the living cannabis plant. It does not produce intoxication. Heat is what causes the conversion: a process called decarboxylation transforms THCA into THC. Without that step, the molecule stays in its acid form — and remains entirely non-psychoactive.

Peer-reviewed research has begun examining THCA's interaction with the body independently of THC. Studies have found preliminary evidence of anti-inflammatory activity via PPARγ receptor activation,1,2 neuroprotective effects in preclinical models,3,4 and antiemetic properties in animal studies.5 These findings are early-stage and preclinical — we make no medical claims. But the molecule is not new, and the research is real.
