Why cold pressed
Most cannabis extracts are heated during processing. Heat converts THCA into THC — changing the compound entirely. Cold pressing skips that step. The result is the plant's natural output, unheated and unaltered. That distinction is the whole point of Tetra.
Tetra No. 1 — Blue Dream
Blue Dream is a sativa-dominant cultivar known for its balanced, uplifting character. Its terpene expression is layered — bright, earthy, and subtly sweet — each compound contributing a distinct biological role.
The most abundant terpene in cannabis. Myrcene carries an earthy, musky quality and is associated with relaxing, sedative effects. It is also believed to enhance permeability, allowing other compounds to absorb more readily.
A spicy, peppery terpene unique in its ability to bind directly to CB2 receptors. Studied for its potential anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties — it acts as both a terpene and a cannabinoid.
Sharp and resinous — the scent of pine forests. Alpha-pinene is associated with mental clarity and alertness, and may help counteract short-term memory effects. Found widely in nature as well as in Blue Dream's bright top notes.
Sweet, herbal, and slightly floral. Ocimene contributes to Blue Dream's characteristic aroma and is associated with uplifting, energizing qualities. It is also noted for antifungal and antiviral properties in botanical research.
The floral terpene most recognized in lavender. Linalool is studied for its calming and anxiolytic properties, and may modulate serotonin receptors. It rounds out Blue Dream's profile with a soft, delicate sweetness.
Fresh, piney, and slightly citrusy. Terpinolene is associated with uplifting and mildly sedative effects depending on context. It contributes to the layered complexity of Blue Dream and is one of the rarer terpenes found in cannabis.
How it's made
We source whole Blue Dream flower from a single cultivator. No trim, no biomass — only the full flowering tops, selected for terpene density and THCA expression.
The flower is pressed at low temperature, never exceeding the threshold that converts THCA to THC. Heat is the enemy of the raw form — so we avoid it entirely. The acid cannabinoid is preserved intact.
The extract is suspended in vegetable glycerin — a natural, food-grade carrier that bonds well with cannabinoids and terpenes. Glycerin is gentle on the digestive system, non-alcoholic, and slightly sweet in taste.
Every batch is submitted to an independent ISO-accredited lab before release. We test for cannabinoid potency, heavy metals, pesticides, and residual solvents. Full results are published openly.
